Memory Route: Reading Jeongneung is a walk-and-share exhibition planned by the Seongbuk Cultural Foundation and TechCapsule. The programme unfolds the achievements of the 2024 archiving book Reading Jeongneung onto the physical landscape. Participants walked through the urban hanok houses, revival-era housing, and alleyways of Jeongneung alongside experts with distinctly different perspectives—architect Hwang Doojin, novelist Lee Sinjo, documentary director Jang Yunmi, and journalist Heo Namseol—reading the layers of time embedded in each place. Alongside exhibitions held at Jeongdeun Maeul and the Neighbourhood Life Research Lab Hanpyeong, the site-specific performance Seongbuk Memory Walk: From Q—reimagining the narratives of Park Kyongni and Shin Kyeongnim—brought the book's records to life as lived experience underfoot.
