테크캡슐은 전시 《소사공단: 기계를 짓는 공장》(부천아트벙커B39, 2023.11.03.~12.03)에서, 퇴거한 완료된 삼양중기 공장의 흔적을 기록하고, 이를 바탕으로 전시 개막 영상을 제작했다. 소사공단의 마지막 공장은 삼성중기는 1970년 이천물산 주물공장으로 시작해, 이천중기와 삼양중기를 거치며 기계 제작을 이어오다 2018년 가동을 멈췄고, 현재 철거를 앞두고 있다. 테크캡슐은 항공 사진 측량과 지상에서 취득한 레이져 스캔을 종합해, 향후 가상 공간에 새로운 거처를 마련하고자 하는 기록자들에게 정밀한 데이터를 제공했다.
TechCapsule recorded the traces of the Samyang Machinery Factory, which had been vacated, and created an opening video for the exhibition Sosa Industrial Complex: The Factory That Builds Machines (Buchon Art Bunker B39, Nov. 3–Dec. 3, 2023). The last factory in the Sosa Industrial Complex, Samyang Machinery, began as Icheon Mulsan Foundry in 1970, and after operating as Icheon Machinery and Samyang Machinery, it ceased production in 2018. It is now set to be demolished. TechCapsule provided detailed data by integrating aerial photogrammetry with ground-based laser scans, offering precise information to future documenters aiming to create a new virtual space.
