Commissioned by the Ewha Archives, TechCapsule carried out the Ewha 150th Anniversary Campus Architecture Documentation Project, digitally recording the current state of the Sinchon campus ahead of the university's 150th founding anniversary. Covering 60 buildings across the campus, the team researched and designed recording methods and levels of detail tailored to the characteristics of each structure. Helen Hall, slated for reconstruction, was documented through precision TLS scanning and a 3D interactive experience built in Unreal Engine. The broader campus was captured through a combination of MMS and drone-based 3D data along with comprehensive photographic recording. With the Ewha Archives taking on the role of direct producer of spatial records—establishing a building numbering system and data management framework—the project serves as a foundation for the ongoing accumulation of campus change over time, rather than a one-off documentation effort.
